Features

1. High-voltage and high-capacity design:

The insulation structure has undergone reinforcement treatment, capable of withstanding insulation tests at a high voltage level of 7.2kV. With a rated current up to 2500A and a short-circuit breaking current of up to 40kA, it can accommodate large load connections and meet the power supply needs of main lines.

2. Long-life stable operation:

The core components are made of aging-resistant and high-strength materials, and the cabinet has excellent sealing performance, effectively resisting external environmental impacts. With an average service life of over 20 years, it significantly reduces equipment replacement costs.

3. Intelligent linkage control:

It supports deep linkage with distribution network automation systems and new energy dispatch systems, and possesses functions such as load monitoring, power quality analysis, and remote regulation and control, enabling refined management and efficient operation and maintenance of the distribution network.

4. Compact high-voltage adaptation:

Compared to traditional open-type distribution equipment of the same voltage level, it reduces the volume by more than 50%, enabling centralized control of high-voltage distribution networks within limited spaces. This reduces the construction costs of distribution rooms and meets the spatial requirements of urban core areas and large enterprises.

Execution standards: GB/T 3906-2020, IEC 62271-201; Rated current: 1600A-2500A; Short-circuit breaking current: 31.5kA-40kA; Protection level: IP4X (outdoor type IP55); Installation method: indoor floor-mounted, outdoor prefabricated (integrated with box transformer); Optional configurations: vacuum circuit breaker, intelligent energy storage operating mechanism, power quality monitoring module, fire linkage device.

    FAQs

What is the difference between a 7.2kV air-insulated ring main unit and a vacuum circuit breaker cabinet?

The former, with load switches as its core, focuses on looped network power supply and sectional control, featuring a compact structure; the latter, with vacuum circuit breakers as its core, boasts stronger interruption capability and focuses on fault clearance. Both can be combined and used according to specific scenarios, adapting to different distribution network functions.

Can it accommodate the grid connection requirements of new energy projects?

Yes, the equipment can be customized to adapt to the grid-connection parameters of photovoltaic and wind power projects. It features anti-islanding and harmonic suppression linkage functions, enabling stable integration into new energy power generation systems and ensuring the power quality and operational safety of the distribution network after grid connection.

    Related Applications

Large industrial enterprises: Large enterprises such as steel plants, cement plants, and metallurgical plants have high production loads and extremely high requirements for power supply continuity. The 7.2kV distribution network is their core power supply system. This equipment can serve as the main control device for the enterprise’s distribution network, enabling high-voltage power access, load segment distribution, and rapid fault clearance. At the same time, it can monitor the distribution status in real-time through intelligent modules, and link with the enterprise’s production scheduling system to avoid production interruptions caused by power outages and ensure efficient operation of the enterprise.

New energy power generation projects: Photovoltaic power stations, step-up stations of wind farms, and on-site distribution networks often adopt a voltage level of 7.2 kV. This equipment can be used for the collection, distribution, and grid connection of new energy electricity. It possesses the characteristic of adapting to fluctuations in new energy generation, can be linked with the grid dispatching system to achieve precise regulation of power generation, and its compact design can meet the installation requirements in the open outdoor areas of power stations. It can withstand harsh weather conditions such as wind, sand, rain, and snow, ensuring the stable transmission of new energy electricity.

Urban core area distribution network: In core areas such as the city’s Central Business District (CBD) and financial center, the load density is extremely high and the distribution space is limited, imposing strict requirements on power supply reliability and intelligence level. This equipment can be installed in underground distribution rooms or small ground distribution rooms in core areas to achieve ring network power supply and intelligent regulation of the 7.2kV main line, quickly handle line faults, and ensure continuous power supply to important places such as office buildings, shopping malls, and transportation hubs. At the same time, its intelligent functions facilitate the digital management of urban distribution networks.
