KYN28-12 armored movable AC metal enclosed switchgear is suitable for three-phase AC power systems with a rated voltage of 12kV and a rated frequency of SOHz. It is used to receive and distribute electrical energy, and to control, protect, and monitor circuits.
This product complies with the requirements of GB3906 *3-35kV AC metal enclosed switchgear•, GB/T11022 ·common technical requirements for high voltage switchgear and control equipment standards”, IEC60298 “AC metal enclosed switchgear and control equipment with rated voltage above lkV and below 52kV”, and DL/T404 “Technical cond巾ons for ordering indoor AC high voltage switchgear” standards.
TOONICE’s the full name of the KYN28 switchgear is KYN28-12 Type Indoor Metal-Clad Withdrawable High-Voltage Switchgear (where “K” stands for “metal-clad”, “Y” for “withdrawable”, “N” for “indoor”, “28” is the design serial number, and “12” represents a rated voltage of 12kV). It is the most widely used standardized equipment in medium-voltage power distribution systems (10kV/35kV). Its core function is to realize the distribution, control, protection and monitoring of medium-voltage electric energy. Through the design of “metal-clad isolation + withdrawable components”, it balances safety, reliability and operation & maintenance convenience, and serves as the “core hub” for medium-voltage power distribution in fields such as industry, power grids and commercial buildings.
1.”Metal-clad Type” Compartment Design, Ultimate Safety:
The cabinet body uses metal partitions (cold-rolled steel plates) to divide the interior into 4 independent compartments. A triple isolation of “fire prevention, arc prevention, and electric shock prevention” is realized between each compartment. Even if a short-circuit arc fault occurs in a certain compartment, it can effectively limit the fault range and avoid spreading to other areas (such as the busbar compartment, instrument compartment), thus ensuring the safety of operation and maintenance personnel and equipment.
2. “Withdrawable” Circuit Breaker Trolley, Convenient for Operation and Maintenance:
The core component (circuit breaker) is integrated on the “trolley”. The trolley can be flexibly pushed and pulled along the guide rail and has three fixed positions: “operation, test, and maintenance”.

Built-in dual protection of “mechanical interlock + electrical interlock”, strictly following the “five-prevention” requirements for medium-voltage power distribution (prevent mis-switching of circuit breakers, prevent switching on/off disconnectors under load, prevent earthing live parts, prevent closing with earthing devices connected, and prevent entry into live compartments)Multiple interlocking protection to prevent misoperation.
