Product Overview

GCK lovoltage withdrawable switchgear consists of two parts: power distribution center (PC) cabinets and motor control center (MCC) cabinets. It is suitable for power users such as power plants, substations, and industrial and mining enterprises in power distribution systems with AC 50Hz, a maximum operating voltage up to 660V, and a maximum operating current up to 3150A, and is used for the conversion, distribution, and control of electrical energy in power distribution equipment such as power distribution, motor control, and lighting.

TOONICE’s GCK Low-Voltage Withdrawable Switchgear consists of two parts: Power Distribution Center (PC) Cabinets and Motor Control Center (MCC). It is suitable for power users such as power plants, substations, industrial and mining enterprises, and is applied in the power distribution system with AC 50Hz, maximum operating voltage up to 660V, and maximum operating current up to 3150A. It is used for power distribution, motor control, lighting, and other power distribution equipment to realize the conversion, distribution, and control of electric energy.

I. Technical Features and Structural Design

  1. Modular Architecture:

It adopts a combined assembly frame, which is formed by connecting section steels with bolts, without the risk of welding deformation and with high installation accuracy. The cabinet is divided into a busbar compartment, a functional unit compartment and a cable compartment, which are isolated by metal partitions to effectively prevent arc diffusion. The drawer units are designed modularly (usually 20mm), supporting various sizes from 1/2 unit to 3 units. A single phase can accommodate up to 22 circuits (calculated by 1/2 unit) and has good interchangeability.

  1. Busbar System:

The rated current of the horizontal busbar can reach 4000A, supporting single-busbar or double-busbar configuration (double busbars are used when the current exceeds 1250A), and the busbars between cabinets are lapped via connecting blocks. The vertical busbar is enclosed with galvanized sheets, and built-in partitions are used to restrict arcs, with a protection class of IP30/IP40.

  1. Operation and Safety

The drawer has a three-position mechanical interlock for operation, test, and separation. The drawer cannot be pulled out when the main switch is closed, and the open position can be locked with a padlock to ensure maintenance safety. The compartments of functional units are separated by metal plates, which meets the requirements for isolation forms specified in the national standard GB7251.1-2013 Low-voltage Switchgear and Controlgear Assemblies.

  1. Environmental Adaptability

The operating temperature range is -5℃ ~ +40℃ (24-hour average ≤ +35℃), the transportation and storage temperature is -25℃ ~ +55℃ (short-term ≤ +70℃), and the altitude is ≤ 2000 meters. It is suitable for indoor environments without severe vibration and corrosion.

III. Application Scenarios

1.Industrial Field:

It is widely used in scenarios such as metallurgy, petrochemical, textile, and mining, serving as equipment for motor control, power distribution, and reactive power compensation. For example, a certain textile factory realizes centralized control and fault isolation of multiple motors through GCK cabinets.

2.Power System:

It is used for low-voltage side power distribution in power plants and substations, supporting flexible distribution of main busbars and feeders. For instance, in a certain 2000t/a butyllithium plant project, GCK cabinets integrate intelligent monitoring modules to realize temperature warning of bus bridges and fast fault isolation.

3.New Energy and Infrastructure:

It is suitable for temporary power supply and energy storage systems in new energy projects (such as photovoltaic and hydrogen energy). For example, the mobile energy storage solution developed by GCK Energy realizes zero-emission power supply for music festivals and charging stations through GCK cabinets. In addition, its modular design is also applicable to places with high requirements for space utilization, such as airports and docks.

IV. AInstallation and Maintenance Key Points

1.Installation Specifications:

① The cabinet must be installed vertically, with an inclination ≤ 5°, and a maintenance channel of 800 – 1200mm reserved at the rear.

② For the connection of the main busbar, ensure the lapping surface is flat, and the bolt tightening torque meets the standard to avoid overheating caused by excessive contact resistance.

2.Daily Maintenance:

① Regularly check whether the drawer connectors are oxidized (it is recommended to clean them every 2 – 5 years); conductive paste can be applied to extend their service life.

② Monitor the temperature rise of the busbar (standard ≤ 65℃), and install forced air – cooling devices if necessary.

③ After the circuit breaker interrupts short – circuit current, check the contact wear and replace them in a timely manner.

3.Intelligent Upgrading:

By adding wireless temperature measurement sensors, intelligent meters, and communication modules, telemetry, remote signaling, and remote control functions can be realized. For example, after the transformation of the power distribution room of a listed company, an intelligent system integrated via GCK cabinets saves 500,000 yuan in maintenance costs every year.
