The SF6 insulated compact ring main unit series produced by TOONICE is characterized by its reliability and operational safety, including fully expandable and non expandable options, suitable for secondary distribution applications up to 24 kV.
This device adopts the most advanced vacuum switch technology, with a compact and flexible structure, easy to operate and install. This product is completely weather resistant, suitable for outdoor use, has a long service life, and requires almost no maintenance under the most extreme conditions.
Compact RMU is a core power distribution equipment used in medium-voltage distribution networks (usually 10kV-35kV) within power systems. Its main functions include realizing ring network power supply, terminal power distribution, as well as the protection, control and monitoring of power lines. It gets its name from the “compact” design featuring “small size and high integration”, and is an optimized and upgraded version of the traditional ring main unit.
Although the traditional RMU (Ring Main Unit) can meet the demand for ring network power supply, it has problems such as large volume, large floor space, and limited installation scenarios (e.g., tight space in power distribution rooms of urban core areas and highrise buildings).
Through structural optimization (such as modular design and reduced spacing between components), material upgrading (such as the adoption of miniaturized vacuum circuit breakers and SF gas insulation), and functional integration (integrating functions like switching, protection, and metering), the compact RMU greatly reduces its volume (usually 30%-50% smaller than traditional RMUs) on the premise of ensuring power distribution reliability, while also improving installation flexibility and operation and maintenance convenience.
