The NSHBG-40.5 40.5kV eco-friendly gas-insulated ring main unit is a flagship high-voltage equipment designed for the terminal of ultra-high voltage (UHV) distribution networks, auxiliary power supply in nuclear power plants, and ultra-large energy storage clusters. It utilizes a novel eco-friendly insulating gas (GWP value ≤5) and integrates an AI-based full-dimensional high-voltage diagnostic unit, a UHV adaptation module, and a nuclear-grade safety protection unit. The gas tank is constructed from aviation-grade aluminum alloy and employs vacuum sealing technology, balancing high voltage tolerance, lightweight design, ultra-low partial discharge, and nuclear-grade safety features. The equipment complies with the dual top standards of GB/T 11022-2022 and IEC 62271, has obtained special certification for nuclear-grade equipment, and focuses on high-end scenarios such as voltage reduction at the terminal of UHV distribution networks, auxiliary power supply in nuclear power plants, and grid connection of ultra-large energy storage clusters, achieving green, intelligent, and safe upgrades for UHV distribution networks.

With top-notch adaptability to ultra-high voltage (UHV), the optimized high-voltage insulation structure and voltage regulation characteristics enable voltage reduction and load distribution at the end of the UHV distribution network, with voltage deviation controlled within ±0.3%, meeting the high-precision power supply requirements of the UHV grid.

Nuclear-grade safety redundancy, utilizing nuclear-grade sealing, insulation, and protective design, can withstand the impact of nuclear radiation environment, featuring automatic fault locking and emergency power-off functions, meeting the safety level requirements of auxiliary equipment in nuclear power plants.
3. With ultimate environmental performance, the new gas insulation arc-extinguishing performance is superior to SF₆, with a GWP value of only 0.5% of SF₆. It can be 100% recycled, purified, and reused, significantly reducing carbon emissions throughout its entire life cycle.

With intelligent and collaborative deep integration, equipped with an AI collaborative control module, it can deeply link with the ultra-high voltage dispatching system, nuclear power plant control platform, and energy storage cluster PCS, achieving fault self-healing, dynamic load adjustment, and power quality optimization.
Rated current range: 1600A-4000A, rated short-circuit breaking current: 31.5kA-50kA, gas tank protection level IP67, applicable ambient temperature -30℃ to +65℃, gas leakage rate ≤0.03%/year, gas tank service life ≥35 years. Supports multi-protocol compatibility such as IEC 61850-9-2 and DL/T 860, and can seamlessly interface with UHV dispatching systems and nuclear power plant DCS systems. Adopting oil-free and silent design, with operating noise ≤55 decibels and partial discharge level ≤3pC, suitable for high-end silent and precise scenarios such as nuclear power plants and supercomputing centers.

It features multiple fault lockout and emergency power-off functions, with a power supply continuity of 99.999%, fully meeting the safety level requirements for auxiliary power supply in nuclear power plants.
Equipped with a high-precision voltage regulation module and a synchronous phasor measurement unit, it can track voltage changes in the UHV grid in real time, automatically adjust the voltage reduction parameters, and control the voltage deviation within ±0.3%. It also supports linkage with the UHV dispatch center to achieve precise voltage regulation.
With mature technology, dedicated nuclear-grade gas recovery and purification equipment can be used, achieving a recovery efficiency of over 99%. The purified gas maintains the same insulating properties as new gas and can be recycled. The recovery cost is only 1/8 of that of SF₆ gas, and the long-term operation and maintenance costs are even lower.
