The 17.5kV air-insulated ring main unit is a high-voltage power distribution equipment customized for specific overseas regions and special domestic industries. It is primarily suitable for the 17.5kV distribution network systems in some countries in Africa and the Middle East, while also meeting the high-voltage load power supply needs of domestic industries such as metallurgy and mining. The equipment uses air as the insulating medium, incorporates extreme climate resistance design, international standard customization, and high-voltage and high-capacity adaptability characteristics. It has full functionality including power access, load regulation, and fault protection, and can operate stably in harsh environments such as high temperatures, high salt spray, and strong dust storms. It is a dedicated selection for overseas projects with special voltage levels.
The cabinet body is made of corrosion-resistant and high-temperature alloy material, with a ceramicized surface coating treatment. It can withstand temperature differences ranging from -45°C to +60°C, strong salt spray (coastal areas), and heavy dust (desert areas), achieving a protection level of IP65.
Supporting full-dimensional customization of electrical parameters, operation interfaces, and certification standards, it can adapt to grid frequencies (50Hz/60Hz) in different overseas countries, providing multi-language control panels and localized certification documents.
With a rated current of up to 3150A and a short-circuit breaking current of up to 40kA, it features overload protection and load adjustment functions. It can accommodate the high-voltage direct power supply requirements of large equipment, reducing losses in the voltage reduction process.
Utilizing maintenance-free core components and modular splicing structure, on-site installation does not require professional heavy equipment, and daily operation and maintenance only requires visual inspection and parameter monitoring, significantly reducing the cost and difficulty of operation and maintenance for overseas projects.

Customizable and adaptable, the core components and measurement and control system can switch between 50Hz/60Hz frequency parameters, while optimizing the electrical structure to ensure that insulation performance and operational stability are not affected under different frequencies.
Equipped with a dedicated dust-proof and heat dissipation module for desert conditions, it adopts a combination of forced air cooling and natural heat dissipation. The cabinet body is reserved with heat dissipation channels and equipped with dust-proof filters, allowing it to operate continuously at full load under high temperatures up to 60℃.
