XGN10
The 10kV air-insulated ring main unit stands as a benchmark distribution equipment for medium-voltage distribution networks in China. It is widely compatible with 10kV voltage systems in urban power grids, industrial parks, and large-scale infrastructure projects. Utilizing dry and clean air as the insulating medium, it eliminates the use of SF6 greenhouse gas, balancing high insulation performance with environmental protection demands. The equipment integrates core components such as load switches and vacuum circuit breakers, offering comprehensive functionality including ring main power supply, sectional protection, and load transfer. With a modular structure and convenient expansion capabilities, it can not only meet the continuous power supply needs in densely populated areas but also accommodate the upgrading demands of distribution network automation transformation. It is currently the core selection equipment for medium-voltage distribution network construction in China.
It precisely matches the mainstream standards of domestic 10kV distribution networks, exhibits excellent compatibility with existing distribution network equipment, and can be integrated without additional modifications, adapting to both new construction projects and upgrades of old distribution networks.
Equipped with a built-in intelligent monitoring unit, it supports real-time collection of parameters such as switch status, insulation performance, temperature, and humidity. It can be seamlessly integrated into the distribution network automation platform, enabling remote control, fault location, and early warning. The operation and maintenance efficiency is improved by over 60%.
The air insulation design ensures no gas leakage and no greenhouse effect risk. The cabinet body is made of flame-retardant materials and features an anti-condensation structure, achieving a protection level of IP4X. It can withstand complex environments such as humidity and dust, significantly enhancing operational safety.
Compared to SF6 ring main units, it eliminates the costs associated with gas procurement, recycling, and monitoring. Furthermore, with mature manufacturing processes and a well-established supply chain for components, the total lifecycle cost is reduced by 20% to 28% compared to similar products.

There is no significant difference. The core components are made of aging-resistant materials, and the sealing and insulation structures are optimized. The average service life is over 20 years, and the operation and maintenance costs are lower. The replacement cost in the later stage is much lower than that of SF6 equipment.
Support. An optional bypass switch module can be equipped, which, in conjunction with insulated operation tools, enables live line maintenance and load transfer, significantly reducing the duration of power outages and meeting the high reliability requirements of urban distribution networks.
